Digital Campaign Executive

Maverick Digital is a specialist tourism marketing agency with a focus on digital. We partner exclusively with clients from the tourism industry to drive value through the online space. Fast growing, with some of New Zealand's most well-known tourism operators as our clients, this is a fun, creative and inspiring team smashing targets and 'wow-ing' clients on a daily basis. 

We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven digital marketer to own our paid advertising campaign space. As Digital Campaign Executive you will have ownership of all paid channels including Google AdWords and Facebook Advertising, nurturing users through the conversion funnel from start to finish. You will work with our team to create, manage and optimise tactical campaigns; crafting inspiring landing page flows from the very first click and smashing ROI targets. 

Paid Media – Setting up, managing and optimising paid advertising for NZ Tourism operators. Your creative flair and analytical excellence will ensure that you are driving conversions and ROI for clients.

Social Media Management – Building brand presence and engagement opportunities for key clients. Your mastery of the changing social sphere means that you will always be on-message, on the right platform.

Website Management – Content is king, but needs to be discovered and shared. Jumping in and out of client websites will be second nature to you, as you ensure that they are always fresh and relevant.  

Research – The digital landscape is ever changing, and NZ tourism is growing faster than ever. Your curious nature and critical analysis will keep you ahead of changes in competition, industry and technology.

Our ideal candidate:

  • 1-3 years experience working in digital marketing, either client or agency side
  • Google AdWords certified
  • Proven track record setting up & managing successful AdWords, Facebook and Instagram campaigns
  • Familiar with Google Analytics
  • Understanding of WordPress & MailChimp
  • Previous experience in the tourism industry or knowledge of distribution an advantage
  • You are happy to go on work trips to visit clients where they are based, whether in Rotorua or Te Anau
  • You must be an NZ Citizen or Resident
  • Early August 2018 start date
