Our Office Manager is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. Reporting to the Village Manager you will be a key member of the Leadership Team helping to set the culture and direction of the village.

This is an autonomous role, where you will be responsible for personnel management, accounts, and clients relations improvement.

You will be able to work efficiently and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; perform clerical work with speed and accuracy; use computers with windows MS office suite (knowledge of VCare and Tech one an advantage); knowledge of bookkeeping and other accounts functions. In addition you will be a great communicator who can interact with a diverse group of people and have the ability to effortlessly juggle a high workload and multiple activities autonomously.

You will have at least three years office experience with supervisory duties, proven office management, personnel management and accounts. Experience in health setting preferred.

*Account Receivable/Payable *

  • Prepare monthly statements and invoices
  • Set up contacts and direct debit for customers
  • Contact Customers via phone or email regarding overdue accounts
  • Eftpos use and Bank reconciliations
  • Track Monthly Expenses

*Personnel *

  • Ensure admissions forms are completely and government forms sent to correct departments in a timely fashion
  • Ensure the smooth transition of a new resident into the village.
  • Assist with the induction of new employees
  • Assist VM with booking and take minutes of meetings both resident and staff.
  • Provide positive encouragement and feedback to team members and be flexible in approach to the team.
