Our client is a NZ owned food importer and manufacturer. They are seeking an experienced QA Technologist to take ownership and be the expert for QA / QC on afternoon shift. With a large variety of products you will be responsible for ensuring compliance to a number of regulatory bodies as well as customer requirements.
As sole charge of afternoon shift your responsibilities will include:
- Process monitoring
- Customer complaint review / CAPA investigations
- Raw material / product evaluation
- Compliance and CCP monitoring
- GMP internal auditing
- Review of documentation
- Training of staff in food safety, GMP, allergens
To be considered for this position you will:
- Have a relevant tertiary Qualification
- Have 3 years’ experience in a similar role with strong knowledge of food safety requirements
- Be organised and task orientated with tremendous initiative
- Be proactive and able to take ownership of the role as well as encourage others to own their food safety
This is an important role as you will be sole charge on afternoons though there is support at hand. You will work closely with Production and therefore you will have excellent communication, great motivational and leadership skills and be happy with decision making.
