About the role:
An opportunity has become available for a committed individual to become part of our Supply Chain Group within our Materials Department. Based in our New Plymouth facility, you will be at the forefront of cutting edge projects, working in a challenging, varied and flexible environment. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Receiving and issuing materials to and from the stock in the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift, following established health safety and environmental processes and work methods.
- Unpacking/packing shipments and creating shipping documents which comply with local and country requirements.
- Counting of stock to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse.
- Providing inventory and other materials reports to support the Supply Chain management team and other relevant departments.
- Participating in activities to ensure warehouse organisation is optimised and meets company standards.
About you:
The successful applicant will bring to the position the following attributes:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a warehouse or materials environment is essential.
- Successful completion of high school or similar education with the applicant required to undertake ongoing internal training.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Capable to work autonomously and meet deadlines in an efficient manner.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Basic computer skills are preferred with an ability to use Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Possession of a valid forklift license and driver's license is mandatory.
