About the role:
You will be operating and maintaining machines so the targeted levels of performance are met and all the other needs for safety, quality and customer demand is also taken care of. Typical positions include those on the Converter and Corrugator machines.
You will be responsible for:
- machine set up and standard operation
- high quality inputs/ outputs with minimal waste
- providing feedback and continual improvement ideas
- performing operational preventative maintenance e.g. cleaning, checks, lubrication
- any other required tasks.
To be successful you will:
- have proven mechanical aptitude and experience
- be reliable, smart and hard-working
- show good accuracy and problem solving ability
- have a commitment to health and safety
- enjoy working as part of a physically fit team
- keep up with a fast paced production environment
- have reliable transport and legally be entitled to work in NZ.
