We are seeking an energetic Cheese Supervisor to join our Cheese & Liquids team at our manufacturing site in Waharoa, near Matamata. Reporting to the Cheese Plant Manager you will be responsible for:
- Supervising staff and the production process
- Ensuring Work Health and Safety is a priority
- Work planning and prioritising
- Cost control and labour efficiencies within defined areas
- Ensuring quality and food safety standards are achieved
- Assisting with developing and coaching employees
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in managing a team with a strong ability to drive team performance
- Excellent leadership, coaching & communication skills
- A thorough understanding of production processing
- The ability to manage daily requirements along with designated projects
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills
Previous Dairy Industry experience would be beneficial however not necessary.
