Hilton Haulage Limited is a well-established and recognisable brand throughout the South Island providing a range of transport and logistics services with a focus on service excellence.

We have several new units on the way and are looking for experienced operators to join the team based in Washdyke. Currently available are positions for Drops Sider and Bulk Tipper operators (Class 5 Licence essential).

Drop Side roles:

- Be part of an 8 strong team managing a varied workload
- Drive a 600 Horsepower Mercedes Benz- 9 axle HPMV unit
- Keep your skillset wide- diversity of Bulk and General cartage
- Linehaul across the South Island (mostly South-Bound)

 Bulk Tipper roles:

- Play an important role in our team of 13 tipper operators based from our Washdyke yard
- Drive one of our modern fleet- DAF’s, Mercedes Benz and Freightliners- 9 axle HPMV units
- Cart varied loads across the South Island (mainly South-bound), including grain, fertiliser, offal and coal

Specific Information:

- Hours of work will vary on a week by week basis, with a guarantee of 80 hours pay per fortnight regardless of hours actually worked
- Predominantly Monday to Friday with some weekend and nightshift work required - therefore flexibility is essential
- Excellent earning potential- work up to 70 hours per week during peak periods
- Allowances for nightshift and overnight stays (up to 3 per week during peak season)
- Good Health and Safety awareness and compliance is essential
