We are currently looking for experienced Chemical Operators for our Soft Gel manufacturing department on night shift, 11.30pm - 7.30 am. The working week starts at 11.30 pm Sunday and finishes 7.30 am Friday moring.

The role

Our Chemical Operators manufacture prescription medicines that are exported around the world. Working to GMP standards and following relevant Standard Operating Procedures this is a specialised role which includes: -

  • Controlling the preparation, measuring and feeding of raw and in-process materials to ensure batches contain proper ingredients, quantities and process outputs are achieved.
  • Setting up, running, troubleshooting and maintaining highly technical production lines to ensure production meets world class standards.
  • Conducting routine checks of equipment to ensure fit for use operation.
  • Completing records and system entries to critical process data.

What you'll bring

Your strong mechanical aptitude and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly -

  • Prior experience in a GMP production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with technical equipment.
  • Proven experience in running and maintaining technical production lines.
  • At least 3 years' experience in controlling equipment that performs continuous and batch processes to process chemicals.
  • You will be a strong communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and a quality mind-set.
  • A good level of physical fitness as some heavy manual work may be required.
