Your new role:
As our new Category Manager – Grocery Non Foods in the Merchandise Division, you will be responsible for delivering fast-paced Category Management principles for the areas of Baby & Personal Care. You will get to work with some exciting global brands such as Huggies & Loreal which make this an irresistible role for a savvy Category Manager. You will be mentally equipped to face an array of challenges and keep a cool, focussed head.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Deliver on sales, profit & key strategic KPI’s
- Optimising performance of categories through a Category Review process
- Drive data analysis and deliver insight
- Understanding our customer & market
- Build and maintain outstanding supplier & team relationships
- Drive our tools and systems to effectively manage category
What we are looking for:
You will have previous category experience, with a history of transforming performance. Your ability to digest data and make insightful, actionable recommendations is paramount. We are looking for someone with tenacity, great analytical skills, personality and influence. You will be highly organised & passionate. Skills in Microsoft office and software applications would be an advantage! Above all this, at the core of your thinking is the customer and meeting their category needs.
