The Company:

From its humble beginnings in Christchurch, Armstrong Motor Group is now in its 25th year of operation. We have 13 dealerships across New Zealand, employing 500+ staff & representing 19 of the best automotive brands in the market. With the continued success and growth of the organisation, we are now looking to recruit a Customer Relations Specialist to help build on our customer experience and retention across the country.

Based at our brand-new luxury premises in Grafton, the successful candidate will support the customer relations processes across all dealerships throughout the country. This role is dynamic, so we are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Customer Relations Manager, you will have a love for data analytics and customer experience, as well as:

  • Develop database strategies and customer data management practices
  • Support and advise on CRM related system processes + faults
  • Provide leadership to our customer care teams and advice to our dealer managers
  • Liaise with Marketing, IT and outside entities to improve CRM related activities
  • Review performance reports and campaign hindsight's, incorporating learnings into recommendations for future CRM programs
  • Monitor and advise on how to improve overall customer satisfaction across the group

The role is fairly autonomous so being a passionate self-starter is a must.

The Person:

You will be innovative in your approach and will do more than just the 'same old', coming up with new ideas and strategies to help assist managers in delivering the best possible experience to our customers.

You will have demonstrated experience working with CRM systems and customer experience strategies, as well as the following:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for customer experience
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at once
  • A strong personality with a professional approach
