Iveco, a CNH Industrial brand, is a global manufacturer of light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, city and intercity buses and coaches, fire fighting vehicles, defence vehicles and off-road vehicles for construction and mining work.
The Opportunity
Plan, co-ordinate and control the Service Centre operations of the company dealership to achieve sales and profit within budgeted expense limits while maintaining a high level of service support to customer. Permanent full time position based in Rocklea.
The Responsibilities
- Support company dealership profit plans by consistently meeting service sales and gross profit objectives by coordinating and controlling the activities of subordinates in accordance with approved systems, procedures and policies.
- Monitor & report on all areas of Service Department performance
- Ensure maximum cost effective utilization of Service Centre facility by submitting cost estimates and quotations for major repair work, including estimates to insurance companies for high value accident repair claims
- Attract, secure and maintain highly competent, well-trained staff by ensuring the application of sound human resources management practices in accordance with Company Policy, Legislative and Award requirements.
- Maintain accurate records covering all workshop activities including job cards, invoices and warranty work
- All day-to-day business functions in accordance to any relevant IVECO policy.
- Recommends the hiring, promotion and/or termination of department employees within Company Policy Guidelines.
The Requirements
- Diploma Business Management
- Extensive background in transport industry
- Trade qualified with sound automotive mechanical background in particular engine / driveline components
- Understanding of Pentana DMS
- The ability to manage large teams and co-ordinate the smooth running of a business
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to motivate and coordinate the activities of skilled trade personnel
- HC or HR truck licence
