About the business
Transit Systems is a progressive and dynamic, Australian owned, multi-national public transport company.
We are excited to be operating Region 6 bus services across Sydney's Inner West from 1 July 2018 and these services will be delivered from our Burwood, Kingsgrove, Leichhardt and Tempe depots. We are now taking applications for drivers to be a part of this historical transition.
We currently operate in Region 3 of Sydney's Metropolitan Bus Services Contract network, covering Liverpool, Fairfield and Holroyd areas.
About the role
Provide maintenance, preparation, replacement and repairs to all vehicle body components, panels, frames, and door systems.
Manufacture, service and fit vehicle, components constructed from such materials as aluminium,
timber, steel, stainless steel, glass, fibreglass, sealing and bonding materials.
Provide all body, structural, accident damage and associated repairs, service and maintenance to vehicles as required.
Operate a range of equipment and tools in order to undertake vehicle maintenance such as, mig, tig, oxy acetylene welding, lifting and materials handling, materials manufacturing, sheet metal folders/guillotines, hydraulic
pullers, various hand tools and the like.

Skills and experience
Relevant Trade Certificate;
Minimum 5 years experience in trade;
Be self motivated; and
Possession of current MR Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence
