Due to significant growth and a busy civil infrastructure market in Sydney and surrounding regions, a global giant specialising in the Materials Testing Industry requires keen and motivated Soil Laboratory Technicians to join their team in the Nowra area.
The role will be Monday to Friday 7am - 3:30pm with some weekends and overtime expected. The hourly rate will be $27+ pending experience.
Temp to Perm opportunities for reliable and competent candidates
Duties that candidates will undertake are:
- Conducting laboratory testing and analysis of soil samples
- Document and report on sample results
- Field testing on civil construction sites (pending experience)
The successful candidates will have experience in:
- Min 18mths Construction Materials Testing (CMT) exp - Soils or Concrete
- Understanding of NATA standards
- WHS White card
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident due to permanent opportunity
- Drivers licence (manual preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Laboratory related degrees/qualifications an advantage
