Job Details:

Reporting into the Associate Director - Environment, you will be the project manager for multiple concurrent contamination investigations and remediation projects of varying size and complexity, with a particular focus on the Oil and Gas Industry.  With an uncompromising commitment to health and safety and client service and in support of the Project Director and Program Manager, you will be a highly experienced environmental candidate who will be able to multi-task, prepare reports independently, manage field teams and carry out field work where required, manage project financials, liaise with subcontractors and the client as required and provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff.

Moreover, you will assist in identifying opportunities and preparing bids. You could be working on projects such as: site assessment and monitoring, UST replacements, retail and terminal/depot site decommissioning and demolition, soil and groundwater remediation.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as environmental science, engineering, geology, or earth science
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a consultancy environment, specifically contaminated land assessment and remediation
• Technically strong in preliminary and detailed site investigations for soil, vapour, and groundwater within the Oli and Gas industry
• Experience in remediation services, including the preparation of remedial strategies and Remediation Action Plans
• Experience as an Auditor’s assistant or leading a response to an Auditor
• H&S training including: First Aid, NSW Construction Induction, and 24 or 40 hr HAZWOPER
