This is an opportunity for a Microbiologist or recent graduate of Microbiology (with some commercial experience) to join a team of highly skilled Analysts. The role offers a long term contract, possibly leading to a permanent role where you will become part of a dynamic, busy laboratory function.
Your role will involve duties surrounding the following areas; Cell Culture, Virology, Viruses, Anti-Viral Strains, disinfectant testing and general microbiological techniques. You will work on a busy schedule and your main focus will be based around your customers requirements, timeframes and needs.
The Person
To be successful within this role you will have a degree in Microbiology and/or equivalent TAFE degree. Ideally you will experience with Cell Culture or Virology. Commercial work experience is also essential. You will be good team player and will have excellent communication skills.
