I am looking for a Data Scientist with 1-2 years of commercial hands-on advanced analytics experience to be part of a very high performing team of data engineers, data scientists and data analysts. The team has some absolute rock stars and won't it be great to do some intense group discussions and knowledge sharing sessions with such an amazing squad....think about it :) 

In this role, you will apply machine learning, Python, NLP concepts and models to extract insights from large data sets. You will be part of a growing team and contribute towards some really exciting projects in the media space.

What you would be doing in this role:

• Evaluate machine learning model performance when applied to unique circumstances and build algorithms as and when required. 
• Communicating and presenting technical projects/details to all the stakeholders involved. 
• Work unsupervised in a mid sized team and take ownership. 
• Code as and when required - you should know Git and Unit Testing
• Perform all tasks as assigned by the Senior Data Scientist from time to time to facilitate the projects. 

If you possess most of the below, then reach out:

• 1-2 years of experience in a commercial Advanced Analytics and insights environment as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer - Please note, this is not a Senior role.
• Demonstrated skills in SQL, Python, Hadoop, Spark, MapR, Git - Mandatory
• Experience in NLP (natural language processing) - Preferred
• Experience of working in the Media industry - Preferred
• Passionate about Data Science and what it can do
• Great communication, presentation, and inter personal skills - Mandatory
• Great team player!
• Loads of enthusiasm!
• Inquisitive by nature!
