The role

With a strong pipeline of Transport projects across Australia, GHD’s Transport group is continuing to expand. We now have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Modeller to join our team based in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your existing skills along with further developing your career.

About you

• Operate as a key member of the modelling team. 
• Provide transport modelling support to a wide range of projects including full model development and reporting. 
• Be part of the continued development of the GHD transport modelling capability working to ensure we have a great reputation within the industry. 
• Work with the team to identify innovative solutions to our client’s projects. 
As the successful applicant, you will possess the following skills and/or experience: 
• Relevant experience in transport modelling 
• Experience with the latest transport modelling methodologies, processes and software packages, such as EMME, Aimsun, Visum, Vissim, etc. 
• Advanced analytical and investigative / research skills. 
• Adaptable and resilient in an ever changing environment. 
• Experience in applying adaptive and innovative solutions to transport planning and modelling problems 
• Experience in developing automated procedures for data processing and modelling (programming / python scripting). Work autonomously and as a key member of the transport team 
• A strong team focus that ensures communication both internally and externally.

Qualifications


Degree in Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant field.
