Our client, an expert management agency is looking for a Contract Manager to work for one of their clients. The aim of the role is to carry out a full suite of Property Management functions, with a high level of delegated authority.

Deliverables/Accountabilities

  • Develop policies and procedures relevant to the contract and the Agency’s performance in consultation with the Manager Business Leasing.
  • Develop and implement a schedule of interactions between the jobholder and the Agency.  Where interactions are formal meetings, the minutes for these would form part of the data used by the jobholder to measure contract performance, and may be required as annexures to the jobholder’s reports to management.
  • Regularly report on the performance of the Agency, in accordance with the requirements of the Manager BLU and Director Property
  • Provide to the Agency all necessary documentation that the Agency would require to service the contract and complete their tasks with minimal supervision.  This documentation might include, but not be limited to:
  • Policies
  • Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work instructions and forms
  • Regularly monitor and report on the Agency’s performance against the CSFs and KPIs, in accordance with the contract and directions from the Manager Business Leasing Unit:
  • Ensure that the Agency achieves the tasks according to the required standards
  • Monitor and guide the relationship between the Agency and other departments including but not limited to:
  • Finance
  • GIS
  • In-House Legal
  • Strategic Planning

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Property

 Technical Experience:

  • Experience in managing highly complex contractual arrangements
  • Ability to measure lead and lag indicators
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and foster customer relationships
  • Experience in implementing continuous improvement, optimising current and emerging technologies and business opportunities.
