  KPMG SGA is the in-house team of Chartered Surveyors, Environmental Scientists and Building Certifiers with full service teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth plus representative offices in Auckland and Singapore.  Focusing primarily on commercial property: office, retail, industrial, hotels it also is well represented across other sub groups.  Their principal services are Technical Due Diligence, Make Good Reporting, Environmental Investigations, Sustainability Services, Project Management and Tax Depreciation services.

   

  Your New Role

  KPMG SGA’s Sydney or Melbourne offices are currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

  The core skills within this Australasian consultancy are the technical assessment of the physical condition of commercial assets coupled with a clear understanding of client property and asset strategies.  An important competency of the consultants employed by this leading surveying consultancy is the ability to take a commercial view of property circumstances and information.

  
  What You Bring to the Role

  You will have a technical background as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and you will have the core competencies that include:

• Degree/Diploma with a minimum of 5 years relevant practical experience.
• Whilst not a pre-requisite, MRICS and / or AIQS qualification would be an advantage.
• Extensive working knowledge of Quantity Surveying professional standards.
• A demonstrated ability to deal with and assess large complex commercial, retail and industrial assets.
• The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives;
• Excellent liaison skills with fellow professional consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments;
• A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings.
