Work for one of Australia’s leading property groups, who have a multi billion dollar property portfolio.   

Working at this fabulous, recently re-developed Shopping Centre in Regional Victoria, you will assist with the management of 4 major tenants and over 50 specialty retailers.  In this role, you will be supported by a full time Administration Assistant / Receptionist and you will have Marketing support visit you weekly or bi weekly.  The Centre Manager currently works across a 'hub' of Centres and will be there to offer training and guidance, if you have not done Retail Management before.  


Some of your principal duties in this role will be:
  • People Management / Leadership 
  • Co-ordination, updating, analysis and reporting on Monthly Centre Reports as required, including:
    • Critical Retailer Indicators;
    • High Occupancy Retailers
    • Monthly Sales Report in conjunction with Marketing Manager
  • Work with the Administration Team to ensure 100% of monthly sales figures are collected. Review high variances, provide estimates and elevate to Centre Manager for monthly report.
  • Be involved in the preparation of the Annual Financial budget along with assisting in periodical reforecasts
  • Drive opportunities/initiatives to increase the centre Net Operating Income, in particular, working with retailers to increase turnover rent opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with critical retailers and key performance retailers to understand the market conditions, fluctuations in their business and ensure a proactive response to their needs.
  • Proactively manage the debtors’ situation to ensure that any critical retailers are identified early and managed.
  • Lead the Administration Team in monthly debt management.
  • Participation in Centre Risk Management Committees as required.
  • Active participation in all emergency, crisis and risk management training programs.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will have worked for a property landlord before, as a Retail Manager, Assistant Centre Manager, or you may have even been an Administration Manager or Operations Manager, who wants to move into a Retail Manager role.  You must have a solid grounding in shopping centre operations and retailer engagement.
