The Role:
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Commercial Lease Administrator, dealing with strip retail, shopping centres, office buildings and Industrial properties.
The duties will include but not limited to:
- Ensure leasing documentation is issued in accordance with policies and procedures in particular the Retail Lease Act 2003.
- Effectively manage the timely preparation and return of all leases and associated documentation prior to lease commencement date.
- Instruct and engage with the Landlord's external legal service providers in the administration of leasing documentation.
- Initial contact point for queries received from Tenants regarding rent and/or outgoing accounts, along with any other administrative matters.
- Track and implement rent review notifications into the property system and notify the Tenant accordingly of up coming options/lease expiry.
- Ensure all weekly/monthly reports are updated and distributed accordingly to the Landlord.
- Follow up with Tenant on rental arrears and prepare the relevant documentation in order for the Landlord's external legal service to issue any legal notices.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar administration role
- Must have property sector experience
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Interest or previous experience in Commercial Leasing also highly desirable.
