About our Team

Our national Real Estate Advisory practice comprises passionate and multi-disciplinary specialists with experience across property valuation, development and construction management, civil engineering, town planning, property financing, transaction management, occupier advisory services and property economics - meaning all aspects of complex real estate assignments can be handled by one team with seamless results.

About the Opportunity

This permanent role is for a client side Project Manager within the Project & Construction Advisory group of Real Estate to oversee the delivery of large corporate fit out projects, as well as public sector health & infrastructure projects within our team in Melbourne for local, national and international clients.

It is imperative that the successful individual has key contacts in Melbourne and can contribute to the business development of Deloitte Real Estate and particularly the Project & Construction Advisory group.

You will be responsible for:

• Taking part in a variety of projects - predominately Deloitte’s new 27,000m2 Melbourne office and public sector Health & Infrastructure projects
• Sourcing a pipeline of opportunities in Melbourne, both via the internal Deloitte network and through your own network
• Acting as 2IC to the head of the Program Management Office, including project advisory and assurance
• Collaborate and develop good relationships with clients and stakeholders internally and externally.
• Growing current and building new long-term relationships within the real estate industry and Deloitte
• Representation of Deloitte Real Estate at various industry forums, and in the general marketplace

Your clients will include internal colleagues, domestic and overseas banks, Government and top ASX listed corporations.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Building, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail amongst being well organised
• Drive, energy and a personable nature
• Successful track record in the delivery of projects
• An eagerness to be actively involved and having ownership in all tasks at hand
• 5-10 years’ project management experience within the Melbourne market
• Large integrated corporate office space fit out (please highlight this experience in your resume)
• Your experience will include a combination of large commercial buildings or public sector infrastructure projects (Health / Infrastructure projects is preferred)
