Your new company
Client is multi disciplinary property consultancy. They currently have need for an experienced Facilities Coordinator to work as part of client facing team.
Your new role
Role is traditional Facilities Coordinator role within commercial building. Role is customer face of the facilities department, to log queries and to trouble-shoot basic issues and will involve supervising and managing hard and soft services contractors that are delivering work on the building. The role will also be required to potentially help fix basic issues, so if candidates had basic maintenance knowledge that would be looked upon favourably
What you'll need to succeed
Clients looking for experienced facilities Coordinator, ideally with experience of working on commercial buildings. Candidates would need very strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills and as outlined above ideally some experience of working in the maintenance area. Candidates would also need a positive approach to working within a team with blurred boundaries in terms of job descriptions and a professional demeanour to work with high end clients in a mixed use building.
What you'll get in return
Client looking at engaging on a contract basis. Probably initially 3 months but with possibility to extend. They are offering an asap start and a good hourly rate, Suggest 30-36 ph but definitely some options to pay more for experienced candidates.
