About the role & team
We have an opportunity for an experienced Insurance Lawyer to join our growing Insurance WA team in Perth working with a highly regarded partner.
This role will be part of our growing Insurance team in Perth which has approximately 30 team members. The role will have the opportunity work closely with partners and will have access to junior level support.
Duties
This role will be responsible for advising on Workers Compensation, Personal Injury and Liability matters. This particular role will mostly be running Workers Compensation files.
Our national Insurance team advise on and manage litigated claims for a number of major insurers, underwriters and self-insured corporations. These include claims ranging from highly complex and technically challenging, through to simpler, volume-driven claims. These matters include Public & Product liability, FOS applications, Workers’ Compensation law, Personal injury claims and non-personal injury claims. We also have extensive experience advising on fraudulent insurance claims.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years post admission experience
- Experience advising on Insurance matters across either defendant or plaintiff
