Our client currently has a vacancy for an experienced legal assistant who is proactive and looking to providing high level administrative assistance to this local government team
This role will ideally suit an intermediate legal assistant who is looking for a career that is both challenging and rewarding.
Key responsibilities
- Document and file management
- Lodgement of legal documentation
- Identifying relevant issues in legal documentation
- Compiling reports
- Drafting correspondence
- Minute taking
- Liaising with external stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years Previous experience in an in-house legal or private law practice
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Familiarity with electronic trial platforms
- A commitment to excellent client service
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
