Muffin Break is a well established, much loved cafe bakery brand. Part of the Foodco group, Muffin Break operates close to 300 outlets in Australia and overseas.
An opportunity has recently become available for a switched on hospitality professional wanting to make their mark in a multi site cafe /retail operations.
Your Role!
We require an energetic, customer-focused person with a head for business, to join our team.
In your role as Operations Consultant you will:
- Assist our partners to maximise sales and profitability, comply with our operational standards and assist in finding opportunities to maximise growth.
- Provide quality ongoing training to the cafe outlets, through a process of audits, evaluations and observation. Requiring a hands on approach and a sound knowledge of coffee and cafe operations.
- Work with franchise partners to open new cafe operations and manage changeovers as and when directed, providing assistance in the training of new and existing teams
- Maintain professional and open relationships with partners at all times.
Experience and Skills
Ideally you have strong communication skills, have a head for business and enjoy working in a demanding and competitive environment. You are self-motivated and flexible with a hands-on approach to problem solving.
You have broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of retail food or hospitality operations including financial analysis, marketing and training. Education in business studies or hospitality management would be an advantage but is not essential. A minimum of 3 years in a manager or assistant manager role would also be an advantage.
Location
this position is based in Melbourne and will require travel to sites around Victoria.
