Algester Sports Club is a thriving, established Community Club located in Brisbane's south. Boasting excellent quality lawn bowls facilities, maintained greens, 60 EGMs in a modern gaming lounge, bar, bistro, cafe and large function room facilities. Having recently undergone major renovations in the Club we are seeking an experienced Bistro Supervisor to join our friendly team.

This position offers a genuine opportunity to be a part of an enthusiastic and customer focused team, along with the objective to drive outstanding customer service to the local customer base and encourage a positive team culture.

The following attributes are essential:

• A passion for delivering and driving great customer service
• Previous supervisory/management experience in the Bistro/Cafe
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
• Experience in rostering
• Skills in coordinating functions and events
• Leadership skills with a flair for managing and motivating staff
• Excellent personal presentation and grooming
• Strong time management, organisation and ability to self-motivate
• Strong communication skills and an eye for detail
• Conflict resolution
• Current RSA certificate
• Available to work flexible hours across the week including nights and weekends

Relevant Qualifications at a Certificate IV level or above would be an advantage.

We are open seven days a week where weekend and evening work is required. Therefore must have the flexibility to work nights and weekends across a 7-day week roster.
