Action Industrial Catering is a progressive and exciting catering & facilities Management Company, which has successfully secured catering and support services contracts within the WA mining and gas industries.
We are currently seeking to employ a Qualified Chef/Relief Head Chef whom has proven experience in a leadership role and whom is flexible to be a part of the team one week and step up to being a hands on Head chef for the second week.
This role will be day shift, 11hrs paid over a 12hr shift, 2 weeks on & 1 week off.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in mine site catering, hotel or restaurant background or associated industry and they must possess the following:
- Head Chef experience preferred
- Cert III Commercial Cookery or equivalent
- Experience with menu planning, ordering and stock takes.
- Leadership and strong communication skills.
- Experience in ensuring food and services are provided within budget and procedural guidelines as specified in the scope of works.
- High attention to detail
- Manual Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Experience in a similar position is a pre requisite to be considered for this position.
- Cost plus site, averaging 250persons on site
Mobilisation requirements
The successful candidate will need to complete a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol screen,, Apply First Aid and need to provide a copy of clean National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
