We are seeking a vibrant, high energy, customer focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our award-winning resort, Ardency Aroona in Yowie Bay. The Restaurant Supervisor will manage the day to day restaurant operations and provide a high level of customer service and assistance to the residents of the Resort as well as the patrons of the Ardency Aroona restaurant.
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and improving the front of house operations, working collaboratively and innovatively with the Executive Chef for menu planning and functions, leading and training wait staff, conducting stock takes as well as the preparation of the monthly restaurant column. This is a permanent, full time position which will require the successful candidate to work shifts across Tuesday through to Saturday inclusive.
As there is a small Restaurant team at the Resort this is an extremely hands on role that will see you assisting wait staff serving food and beverages as well as setting up the restaurant room in preparation for lunch and dinner services. A key undertaking of the Restaurant Supervisor will be the responsibility of the event calendar at the restaurant so demonstrated experience in event management is essential.
To be successful in this role you will have solid experience within the Hospitality sector as a Food & Beverage or Restaurant Manager. You will have a passion for providing outstanding customer service coupled with a strong ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve outstanding results. To succeed in this role, you will have solid knowledge of food and wine as well as the supervisory experience to effectively lead and inspire a small team. Demonstrated experience in managing events and functions is essential as well as an innate focus on safety and EHS standards.
