We are seeking expressions of interest for casual Food and Beverage Attendants with flexibility towards working both in Esca and for private functions, primarily on weekends and over holiday periods.
Bimbadgen, situated in Pokolbin within the Hunter Valley, is a premium tourism provider in the area. The Estate features a winery, cellar door, accommodation, restaurant - Esca Bimbadgen, and soon to open private function space. Situated on a hill in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country, Esca Bimbadgen is dedicated to the art of food and wine matching. Esca's modern Australian cuisine, fresh local and home grown produce, and spectacular views make for a truly memorable dining experience.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Executive, this role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service across Esca, A la Carte, weddings, functions and beverage operations. In their duties, the Food and Beverage Attendant promotes and fosters the desired work culture, which highlights the high standards required for this exceptional business enterprise.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering food and beverage service and production that is in line with Esca standard
- Providing advice on Food and Beverage above guest expectations
- Following correct Esca sequence of service as directed by the Food & Beverage Executive
- Reporting any drop in food presentation and quality to the Food & Beverage Executive immediately to maintain quality
- Reporting customer feedback to the Food & Beverage Executive to ensure customer return
- Ensuring the presentation of the restaurant is maintained to the highest standard
- Working cooperatively with fellow team members and contributing to team performance
The successful candidate will possess the following experience, skills and attributes:
- Food and Beverage experience, preferably in fine dining
- NSW RSA Competency Card
- Willingness to learn, acquire new skills and knowledge and strive for continuous improvement
- Personal interest in current food and beverage trends
- Team player attitude
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
- Due to the location, access to own their transport
- Weekend and holiday period availability
