CLIENT:
Our client has developed some unique boutique hotels, which is popular with Intra-state clientele, who are regular guests at their hotels. Most of their guests stay at least 2-3 times a week at their properties, hence they know their clients almost on a first name basis. This client is looking for a passionate hotelier who is very customer focused and enjoys that close rapport with their guests. It is virtually a “Mine Host” role in ensuring that their home away from home is a welcoming one. Being in country NSW, one will enjoy being away from the madding crowds of larger cities.    

THE ROLE: 
As Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the Front Office department while overseeing and directing all Front Desk operations, including reception, reservations, communications and porters. This role will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for making important business decisions when necessary to ensure maximum occupancy as well as guest satisfaction.  

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

  • Previous experience as Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a 5-star/ 4-star hotel is essential 
  • Outstanding leadership and teamwork abilities to motivate, train and lead the Front Office team 
  • Experience and knowledge on Front Office computer systems and software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Attention to detail, accurate and well-organised
  • Must have a positive attitude and passion in providing genuine Australian hospitality to its guests
  • Desire to live and work in secondary cities within NSW.
