About The Company

This all-inclusive, private island lodge located in the Great Barrier Reef is the ultimate in secluded, unsoiled tropical paradise. About The role

My client is seeking a passionate Jnr Sous or Sous Chef with a good amount of experience with high end pastry products to join their extremely professional team of chefs. They are ultimately seeking an excellent all-rounder who will have a huge role in the pastry department however due to the tight knit team nature you will also have no issues helping out in all aspects of the kitchen. You will have had experience with fine dining cuisine and be willing to roll your sleeves up and get the job done. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a team of one of Australia's most luxurious Island Resorts and to work for an incredibly talented and passionate Head Chef.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury resort essential
  • Excellent knowledge of high end pastry products
  • The ability to live on the Island and work in a tight knit team
  • Great communication skills with a "team player" mentality
  • Full qualifications and working rights a must
