To ensure we have the right person for the role, YOU MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience running a high end venue
• Positive energetic attitude
• Dedicated  commitment to hospitality
• Strong appreciation for working as a team
• Passion for being on the floor
• Must be hands on and lead by example
• Proven ability to manage a team of 12 or more
• Knowledge and passion for food + wine + cocktails
• Immaculate personal appearance
• Pride in providing outstanding customer service
• Enjoyment in getting to know your customers
• Proven ability to achieve KPI's
• Financial acumen
• Looking for career development and has a strong work ethic
• Exposure to customer complaints handling & resolution
• Exposure to restaurant/bar financials
• Exposure to rostering, recruitment & training
• Week day, week night and week end availability is essential
• Current RSA & RMLV

Working closely alongside the General Manager, the successful applicant for this position MUST be comfortable with and enjoy working in a personable service culture, while constantly maintaining a certain level of professionalism and an unstopping focus on customer service.

About the Restaurant

Located on the upper level of Eagle Street Pier, Brisbane's premier waterfront dining precinct, Pony offers unsurpassable views of the iconic Story Bridge and the Brisbane River. While having a strong corporate clientele, Pony is also popular within the leisure market as a destination venue for celebrations and special occasions. Offering guests a rustic contemporary Australian fare, Pony has a seating capacity of 200 and up to 350 cocktail style. With 4 distinct dining areas within the venue, Pony is able to cater for various events at the same time from an intimate candle lit dinner for 2, to a birthday celebration with 50 of your closest friends.

First opened in 2006 in the heart of Sydney's oldest laneway within the dining precinct of The Rocks, the Pony Dining Group established itself as a pioneer in the competitive Sydney dining scene. Making the move to Queensland in 2012, Brisbane witnessed the first chapter in the expansion of a now well respected brand. Pavel & Co, a quick service restaurant, was later launched in 2014 within Sydney's CBD. The expansion and evolution of Pony Dining Group as a brand continues in 2017 with the opening of an exciting new venue on Queensland's Gold Coast.
