The Role
Baw Baw Shire Council has an exciting opportunity in their Arts, Culture and Events team for a Casual Front of House Supervisor to work in the newly refurbished West Gippsland Arts Centre.
You will deliver outstanding service to visitors, whilst ensuring operational effectiveness of West Gippsland Arts), and manage staff during events, ensuring services are delivered in an appropriate manner. You will work with visiting crews, artists and performers to ensure requirements are being met and timeframes adhered to. You will be an integral part of the customer service team and understand the major impact you have on the experiences of our customers.
We are looking for a candidate with outstanding customer service skills, excellent integrity and demonstrated experience in cash handling, as well as a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Excellent communication skills, the ability to respond to a dynamic work environment and an innovative, creative leadership style are important to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be a good team player, with great flexibility and adaptability. You must be able and willing to work Monday – Sunday and evening.
You will be required to hold a current and valid motor vehicle driver’s licence and successfully undergo and return a criminal history record check.
