Cater Group is an extremely successful Club Restaurant Group and is looking for Senior chefs to add to its fantastic team in Ocean Shores. We are always looking for high quality chefs and cooks of various abilities to join the team.
The Restaurant is a busy successful business serving up to 400 meals per service. We are looking for the right Chef experience to add to the current successful team and elevate the food offerings and bring a professional and enjoyable attitude to the workplace. Our business is family focussed and believe there is a great importance to work - life balance. Salary package is negotiable and can be high for the right applicant.
We are prepared to pay top money of $60,000 plus (plus super) for the right Chefs and Cooks to work in this idyllic location of Ocean Shores. If you can work in a busy kitchen and produce quality food under the direction of our Group Executive Chefs we would like to hear from you.
We believe the menu should reflect the abilities of the head chef and the team and are looking for someone who wants to help develop the current successful menu with the team and make it their own. We are always looking for modern menu ideas that can bring a higher standard dish to the venue
This role is for an experienced chefs capable of working closely with the team and providing 400+ meals a night. There are separate food locations and multiple function rooms that operate at the same time.
Functions are held at the Sites and experience in this field is important. The successful Restaurant Group is being run by a very experienced company with over 20 years experience in the industry. This is a great opportunity to be part of this successful team and learn from the experienced operators.
Experience is required and the following skills are important
- Well Groomed
- Reliable and Punctual
- Able to work as a team
- Able to work 7 days lunch and dinner shifts
- Able to work within budgets
- Can work as part of the team including prep and pass work
- Able to Roster and manage kitchen staff if required
- Have a food safety supervisor certificate
- Ability to cook high level and exciting menus
- Ability to write and cost menus
- Dedicated to work with a growing site within a major Restaurant group
- Able to work closely with the chef team and site manager to excell in customer service
