Exciting opportunity for catering assistant in a busy childcare centre in Melbourne's CBD.

Your new company
A popular childcare centre on Swanston St in Melbourne's CBD. This is a private institution where career opportunities are endless.

Your new role
You will be in a catering assistant role will require you to assist an external company with unpacking meals and prepping for the children in the childcare centre. Meals are prepared offsite and will be delivered either cold/frozen. All you will need to do is unpack the delivery, heat up and serve. You will also be required to conduct a series of checks in the kitchen such as temperatures/cleanliness/compliance. Hours are Monday - Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm Necessary training will be provided where needed


What you'll need to succeed
You must have

• Valid Working with Children's Check
• Police Check in the last 6 months (Hays also offer this service at a discounted rate)
• Food Handlers certificate
• Experience in the hospitality industry desired
