Bos Taurus Bar, Restaurant & Butchery are seeking a suitably skilled Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team & support our head chef in the operations of our small team. Located in Mansfield, near the base of Mt Buller Victoria, you will enjoy a unique blend of vibrant tourism and the best of country hospitality.

With a genuine 40hr working week of straight shifts we are offering a solid work / life balance where all staff are able to enjoy time off to enjoy the lifestyle on offer.
Restaurant trading hours are 7 days with Sun - Friday opening hours from 2pm - 10.00pm & Saturdays from 12noon. This gives our staff a great lifestyle with mornings off to utilise as they wish.
Your responsibilities will include:
•Food prep and presentation in accordance with the Head Chef's protocol
•Provision of support to the Head Chef, including leadership in his absence
•Staff supervision and mentoring of apprentices and station chefs
•Adherence to stock control
•Coordination with food and beverage staff
•Strict adherence to food and safety requirements
•Cleaning duties as required

This secure position is FULL TIME, 5 days per week, including nights and weekends. You will be rewarded with excellent remuneration (salary expectations circa $60-65K). This may be negotiable based on experience to the right applicant. The position offers the support of a dedicated team and the opportunity to work in one of the regions best venues.
Trail period accommodation will be provided free of charge for a 1 week period & full time accommodation is available as a package for the successful applicant if required.
