• You will Guide in some of the most pristine and remote regions in the world
• Earn $250+ per day plus Super
• Work Approximately 20 days per month
• We Have several Perth and Adelaide based positions starting September & December

Australian Wildlife Adventures offer a diverse range of 1-10 day tours on two unique touring brands, Nullarbor Traveller and Xplore Eyre.  We offer travellers of all ages unique and authentic experiences, and 15 years of experience.  Showcasing the pristine regions between Adelaide and Perth including the Eyre Peninsula, Flinders Ranges, the Nullarbor, Esperance & Margaret River, we connect people with nature by sharing our landscapes, wildlife, local produce and culture. 

Operating since 1997, Nullarbor Traveller caters to the 18-35 youth market on 3-10 day budget and swag camping adventures featuring unique experiences like sleeping under the stars in swags, swimming with dolphins & sea lions, hiking, surfing and indigenous culture.  Our mid-high end brand Xplore Eyre caters to a broad range of leisure and groups markets on small group tours, private tours and large group charters. 

We are seeking practical, committed, flexible and adventurous people to lead our highly respected eco-accredited tours. Tour Guides must be innovative, have a passion for both nature & responsible travel and enjoy working with people of all ages and nationalities!  Our tours operate in some of the most remote regions in Australia so guides need to be able to work unsupervised and be confident in dealing with emergencies or mechanical issues when they arise.  Guides need to have a can-do attitude and a wealth of knowledge so you can be informative while at the same time give an exciting and entertaining tour.

With our company and products expanding we are seeking some new guides to join our family for the long term. We offer a comprehensive training program and one of the greatest jobs in the world. Previous experience is preferred but not essential however you do need to meet the following requirements: 

Key competences;

·         Minimum LR Licence with passenger endorsement

·         Senior First Aid Certificate

·         Food Handling Certificate and experience cooking on a fire

• An understanding of mechanics and practical common sense

·         Outstanding customer service skills with a broad range of travellers/clientele

·         Exceptional problem-solving skills, patience and ability to deal with difficult customers

·         Excellent communication & organisational skills

·         Stamina for operating long haul tours and being as enthusiast on day 10 as day 1!

• Passionate for the tourism industry

·         Excellent references 

·         Must be able to work with other guides

Duties include but are not limited to;

·         Guiding swag camping adventures in South Australia & the South West of Western Australia

·         Guiding Accommodated tours in the South West of WA

·         Guiding Group Charters or Private Tours as they arise

·         Taking photos for our social media

·         Collecting feedback from passengers
