My client is seeking a 1st or 2nd year apprentice Chef to join their team.

It is a busy kitchen using locally sourced ingredients of the finest standard.

The Kitchen brigade is full of people wanting to see you succeed and reach your goal

so will support you all the way.

As the role is situated in an area where there are local tourist events that get busy , you will have to understand that this will mean working on week ends and public holidays.

All of your standard pub classic are offered along with great dishes that highlight seasonal produce.

THE ROLE :

Taking direction from fully qualified staff
Willingness to be trained in all aspects of the kitchen
Offering input into menu
Eager to learn everything about the role
Maintaining focus on accomplishing duties in a timely manner
Prep work

YOU:

Are passionate about food
Eager to learn about all aspects of the kitchen
Understand when it is busy, it is all hands on deck
Have strong plating and presentation skills
Are a great worker with a strong work ethic
Have great communication skills
Can remain calm under pressure
Have initiative
