As one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals, Epworth Freemasons specialises in women’s and men’s health services including breast and gynaecological surgery, endoscopy and urology. Epworth Freemasons also offers comprehensive cancer care, and a full range of surgical services, including robotic assisted surgery, orthopaedics and ICU care. 

Epworth Freemasons is currently upgrading and expanding its operating theatres and admissions facilities, along with major refurbishments of patient rooms and building infrastructure. Future developments will create additional state-of-the-art theatres, expanded oncology services and extensive on-site car parking for staff and doctors. 

About the role

We are seeking motivated, innovative and patient-care orientated Registered and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses with recent acute clinical experience to work casually at Epworth Freemasons.  With a focus on excellence in nursing, a strong customer service ethos and a passion for nursing, you will be part of our friendly and supportive nursing resource team.  This is an exciting opportunity for flexible Registered and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to utilise and expand their clinical experience in a supportive environment. 

Key areas of focus for this role include:

• Delivering an exceptional patient experience to our patients and their families
• Ensuring patient flow is managed whilst providing high standards of patient care
• Role-model empathy to patients, families and medical consultants

About you

To be successful in the role you will:

• Possess current nursing registration with AHPRA
• Have a contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute nursing care and the patient journey
• Have recent demonstrable experience in medical or surgical nursing
• Be highly accountable and demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging style
• Be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
