Due to recent growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator to join our team on a full time permanent basis at our Menarock Life Camberwell facility.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and coordination of an engaging lifestyle program at the facility which includes social and recreational programs designed to improve and maintain the quality of life of residents that takes into account their physical, psychological and spiritual needs.
About You:
To be considered for this opportunity you will possess:
- A qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle and a current First Aid certificate
- Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering and evaluating recreational and rehabilitative programs for the aged
- Demonstrated high level of analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and commitment to working as part of the team
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work without supervision
- Mature outlook with the ability to relate and converse with older people
- Previous experience working in a similar role in an aged care setting will be highly regarded
- The right to work in Australia
