What you'll be doing

The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing nursing care to patients and clients of the health service; and leading, directing and supervising other nurses and care roles in the team, such as Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to support quality care for patients/ clients.

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Recent clinical experience In Speciality and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  3. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  4. Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
  6. Demonstrated personal attributes including resilience, integrity and accountability.
  7. Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute
