The Role
Care Manager’s role is to ensure that highest level of clinical care and customer service is being provided to all the residents in the home. Some of the other duties and responsibilities include:

• Large residential aged care facility with a supportive approach – you will report directly to a Facility Manager (who is a Registered Nurse), clinical care coordinator (someone who is 3rd in command and will support you with ensuring the care) and an energetic and bubbly care staff team.
• You will be working alongside the ACFI, Quality and Education specialists to ensure that these areas are meeting the standards.
• Making sure that the residential aged care is up the current aged care accreditation standards.
• Be part of a great team and manage the care in your unique management style.
• Recruit and hire your team!

  
Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified registered nurse with AHPRA registration
• Previous experience in a similar position within a residential aged care facility in Australia
• Passionate for residential aged care
• Strong knowledge in the current aged care standards, legislation and accreditation.
