The latest opportunity to join the team is as a Care Manager. The Care Manager ensures our services meet the legislated requirements and Goodwin's standards and ensures that our residents receive the appropriate level of care and services to maintain their quality of life.

The main duties and responsibilities of the Care Manager is to provide leadership, support, and guidance to clinical and care support team to enable them to deliver a high-level quality care to residents and meet the expected outcomes across all standards.

The successful candidate must be able to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Registration as a Nurse in Australia
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Knowledge of advanced care planning and respecting patient choices
  • Experience in the delivery of care outcomes for older people
  • Experience in managing people to achieve outcomes including skills development
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Accreditation and legislative compliance
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument
  • Ability to provide high level reporting to the Manager Operations Residential
  • High level professionalism and resilience
  • High level written and verbal communication skills
