Following tradition of the exceptional provision of health services, the Ramsay Pharmacy Group (RPG) was established in 2008 as a business unit within Ramsay Health Care. RPG operates hospital pharmacy businesses, a retail pharmacy franchise brand and a commercial services business.
Ramsay Pharmacy retail stores deliver progressive & contemporary pharmacy services to consumers, whilst being an important element of a community based multi-disciplinary heath care team. As a result of recent expansion within the retail pharmacy group exciting state based leadership roles have been formed to provide operational oversight and guidance to franchise pharmacies located in each state.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, your key objectives will be to expand the Ramsay Pharmacy brand and drive the growth of retail pharmacy activity & business within the region in addition to ensuring compliance at a store level for all brand strategic initiatives. As a member of the leadership team, you will work to refine strategies for current and new pharmacy services. Other major responsibilities will include business analysis, identification of trends and opportunities, expense management and ensuring that the retail pharmacies meet key performance metrics, budgets and targets within this rapidly evolving and challenging operating environment.
The role requires a high level of skill in multi site management, consultation and providing business support and advice in line with the Ramsay Pharmacy brand strategy. The role demands strong customer focus, excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders as well as the ability to successfully implement multiple strategies whilst influencing strategic change as required across the sites. You will possess strong financial & commercial acumen and have excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. A thorough understanding of issues surrounding the PBS, budgets and franchise operations and an in-depth understanding of retail and dispensary activities will also be expected.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be dynamic, possess highly effective management skills, strong financial acumen and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have a thorough understanding of issues surrounding workforce planning and be able to provide the necessary leadership and direction to retail pharmacy teams. You will be highly self-motivated with a strong focus on customer service and possess the skills to ensure that the business can meet its operational objectives whilst influencing strategic change as required.
