Elegant Smiles is looking for a casual dental assistant to assist a much loved Dentist who has returned after a year of medical leave. We are a QIP Accredited Dental Practice located centrally in South Perth and we take pride in our infection control, clinical procedures and running of our practice. We all enjoy coming to work, who we work with and we think we have the greatest patients in the world!
We currently have a full-time dentist, a part-time dentist returning from medical leave, two full-time nurses and a full-time office manager. Our principal dentist is finishing Prosthodontic specialty training in November and we will be looking for a hygienist to manage our hygiene department in a month or so.
We are looking for a casual dental chair-side assistant to put on her Tooth Fairy Wings and join us in our little home on Mondays. There is scope to increase to a permanent part-time role on a Monday and Tuesday this year and an additional Thursday next year when our Principal returns to full-time work. Our practice philosophy is based on prevention and education and we are always looking at ways to improve everything we do to make our lives easier.
Experience or qualification in dental nursing is preferred but not essential. Remuneration depends on qualifications and experience.
Working hours are for a casual, as needs basis between the following hours with a minimum of a 3 hour shift;
- Monday: 7:45am to 5:45pm

Our interview process is a two stage process where potential candidates are selected for an informal meet and greet appointment where we show you around the practice and answer any questions you may have. Formal interviews are then offered on the basis of the meet and greet.
