Introduction
As a Social Worker, Registered Psychologist or Counsellor, based at one of our MAX Employment offices in either Albany or Esperance, you'll be doing more than just clinical assessment - you'll be empowering members of the community by giving them the tools for success to identify and achieve their occupational goals.
This position will require you to assist our customers in both Albany and Esperance, and is permanent, part-time (2 days/week). If you're committed, compassionate and ready for a challenge, great things are within your reach at MAX.
The opportunity
- Base yourself in either of the 2 sites (whichever is closer to you) and provide services remotely to the other
- Delivering clinical services to individuals, including post placement support, assessments, counselling and vocational counselling
- Providing a variety of functions including case reviews and peer support to our stakeholders and sustainability programs with employers
- Contributing to a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Counsellors and Exercise Physiologists

About you
- Social Worker eligible for full membership with the AASW, Registered Psychologist with current AHPRA registration, or Bachelors level degree qualified Counsellor eligible for full membership with the ACA or PACFA (or equivalent national body)
- Genuine interest in providing clinical services to assist some of the most vulnerable members of the community
- An understanding of the role employment has in maintaining good mental health
- A flexible and solutions focused approach to practice which links to employment
- An ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people at all levels
