Location: Newcastle Community Health Centre
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced registered nurse to join the Hunter Spinal Cord Injury Service (HSCIS). HSCIS is a community MDT providing rehabilitation and healthcare services for people living with a SCI within the boundaries of the Hunter Valley, Mid North Coast and Newcastle. This is a unique position with close working relationships with the State Spinal Cord Injury Service, iCare and local SCI networks. You will provide leadership and consultation services in best practice management of SCI health issues to the acute and community sectors. You will use your expertise in neurogenic bowel and bladder management, sexual function, holistic wound management and other SCI health issues to share with a highly skilled and passionate team and improve the health and wellbeing of the people with a spinal cord injury.
An eligibility list will be created for future similar vacancies, both permanent and temporary.
