The Position
St John of God Subiaco Hospital has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Orthopaedic Technician to join the dynamic team in our Operating Theatre.
This busy role is responsible for maintaining the equipment and supplies used in orthopaedic surgery and providing support to the surgical team during surgical procedures.
Recent experience as an Orthopaedic Technician is essential for further consideration. Previous experience with the Brainlab Airo Mobile Intraoperative CT will be highly regarded.
The position will be offered on a permanent full time basis, contracted to 76 hours per fortnight.
The successful candidate will have:

- Recent and relevant Operating Room experience.
- Wide knowledge base of sterilising technology and orthopaedic surgical practices.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and new orthopaedic instrumentation and equipment and application thereof.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of basic anatomy and physiology.
- Accurate & efficient keyboard, computer & data entry skills
