Our client is leading biopharmaceutical company that has broad market coverage and an ever growing global presence. This innovative company researches, develops, produces and markets its own products worldwide.
About the role:
Reporting to the National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing key accounts across both public (<400 beds) and private hospitals (<100 beds) and other healthcare related organisations
- Liaising closely with sales managers, hospital sales reps and key decision makers, ensuring that you remain up to date with PBS/TGA local issues and relaying necessary information to the wider team
- Maintaining solid product and customer knowledge at all times
- Actively manage budgets and ensure budget compliance where necessary
- Developing strong working relationships with key decision makers; working closely with the national KM to maximise market access for products
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years previous experience working within the pharmaceutical industry
- Previous experience selling and negotiating with key senior medical personnel
- Therapeutic experience within haematology or the heart failure space is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Solid organisational, interpersonal and analytical skills in tandem with strong networking and stakeholder management skills
This role will require a minimum of 30% travel as required. Territory includes Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Brisbane and Gold Coast.
